Formula 3 Update
We have released a new version of the Formula 3 Mod.
The changes are intended to make the Mod more accessible to all drivers.
* The Blaze Server is now running this version, so if you have a mismatch then it's because you do not have this version installed.
- Added Pit Speed Limiter
- Removed 200rpm from top end (better audio range for gears)
- Removed 400rpm from bottom end (better audio range for gears)
- Lowered the whole power band 500rpm
- Increased torque over the first 70% of the power band
- Increased top hp by ~5hp
- Decreased engine braking at high rpm
- Increased engine braking at low rpm
- Increased overall grip of tires by a medium step
- Widened the optimal brake temperature range to about 450 degrees
- Decreased engine heat generation (No more Smoke all the time!)
- Increased optimum oil temperature level
Special thank's to Powerslider for making these changes for us. Credit is due because he fixed all of the little problems that existed in the previous version.
I think we can be very proud of the changes so far.
We would be happy to hear your views on the changes we have made. So please let us know. The feedback is always appreciated.
Please download the new update from the blaze site. Take the file "Formula 3 Physics Update V1.2 By Powerslider (1mb)"
To Install: Extract all files to your rfactor folder.

Re: Formula 3 Update
Hi guys, regarding the latest patch make sure you check a few things in your setup before you head out.
Things that have changed in the setup are:
-Ride height minimum is locked at 3cm (front) and 3.5cm (rear)
-Brake pressure cannot be set higher than 92%
-Spring rates go down to 80 instead of 100 as a minimum/softest setting
What this means is that your old setups will be different in these areas. For instance: your car will be set much higher than necessary concerning ride height and your spring rates will be 2 clicks lower at every wheel.
Just put the ride height to the lowest setting and you'll be ok.
Cu on track!!
